Is my UCAT score too low to apply to medicine at kcl?

I really want to go to kcl but I got 2800 B2 in the UCAT so I don't know if my score will be good enough.

I have A*A*A predicted at A level and straight 8s and 9s at GCSE. I am a home student and not contextual.

Would it be best if I just didn't apply?

Well done on your great UCAT score.

I don't know about KCL specific but I suggest you post your info in the megathread below. In the format of the first post.

They can provide a strategic steer on where you could consider applying - and you could ask about KCL there.

not sure exactly what kcl ucat scores normally are but since they have a holistic approach, your predicted grades and gcses are very strong. i imagine 2800 will be enough to secure an interview since the lowest score last year was around 2550-2650 i believe.

just wondering if you used medify or medentry to revise?? how were the sections difficulty in the actual exam compared to the resource you used / official ucat mocks (i heard mock c and d were pretty realistic)?? would you also mind sharing what you were averaging in your mocks??

Hey! I used only medify and I was getting around 2600 and around Band 2/3 in most of my exams. Some of the medify exams were much harder than the actual thing!

I personally found my UCAT a lot harder than the official UCAT mocks but I might have just been unlucky with the questions.
