1.

figure out what subjects you wanna do and what course eg: some people do a levels, btecs or t levels based on what you wanna do in later life.

2.

find more information and prepare yourself for what course you are going to do this might be work experience opportunities by volunteering or summer schools at unis or getting a job depends on what you want to do? hope this helps:smile:

Hiya @ireneasare75 ,

It sounds like you're talking about A-Level results? If that's the case then UCAS have the perfect page for you here. What you do after results day will depend on whether you meet your firm/insurance offer or not.

If you do, then great - you're in! Feel free to ring up your chosen uni and ask any questions you need about joining.

If you don't (or you've changed your mind about where to go or what to study), then perhaps consider clearing. There are loads of genuinely great courses and unis with clearing places, so it would be great to have a browse of any courses you might be interested in as a back up plan. Have a few contact details of unis you may be interested in (as well as your UCAS ID number) on hand and ring them up as soon as you can after you get your results if you want to enquire about getting into that course.

Next its just about firstly, celebrating your achievements whichever direction you end up in, because regardless of whether things work out as expected or wanted, you've worked so hard to get to where you are and WILL end up with circumstances you will be pleased with in the end. Secondly, work out what you need to do to prepare for uni in September/October!

I hope that helps, best of luck!

Hi!

The best of luck with your results! I hope that it goes amazing for you.

If you are interested in studying at University then this could be an amazing next step. If you have gone through UCAS then you should be informed of any updates or changes when you get those results. Additionally, if there is a scenario in which you don't get the grades that you want then perhaps you can go through clearing. This can be done through applying online through clearing as well as calling up the University. For example, for clearing at Kent you can go to https://www.kent.ac.uk/clearing?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=ec_ug-clr24&utm_content=ug-clr24-clearing-2024_ec101676_gb_ggs_b_generic-terms_conversions&gad_source=1.

When I got my A Level results, I went onto UCAS and checked my offers and I had one from Kent which I accepted so it's important you keep an eye on your emails.

For alternative routes you can always look into apprenticeships or maybe even full time work. Maybe have a look at the Government website for this.

Take care and good luck! - Brandon
