I hope you guys are well. I feel extremely nervous andanxious but I have an interview on Tuesday 13th August fora University of Hertfordshire PGCE Interview. 😬
The structure of the interview is as follows:
•Confirmation of identity (photo ID and identifyingquestions)•Welcome and introductions•Introductory questions•Microteaching task•Interview questions
I have to teach a topic from the subject I wish to teachwhich is Computing either introduce a programmingconcept within the KS3 Computing National Curriculum to aYear 7 (11/12 years old) class or introduce a keycomponent of computer networking suitable for a Gcse(14/16 year old) Computer Science class lasting 5 minutesto the interview panel.
And that they are looking for the potential to teach not theperfect lesson. Any tips or advice please I don’t knowwhere to start? I’ve never done it before. I need some helpplease.
