imo 6-6.5 is enough, 7+ is better. What are you on now

Probably at least a 7 without mitigating circumstances. 25% or so offer rate and just look at past TMUA grade distributions to observe the relevant data.

Imperial are probably happier with 4, especially if that includes FM. Honestly I don’t know many ppl who got offers with 3 A levels but a fair few who had 4. TMUA grade is important but imo if you reprioritise for now to optimise the TMUA grade and then after that focus on getting the 4th up to at least an A (which shouldn’t really be too difficult if you’re the right sort of person to handle the workload at IC).

Good luck!

I'm not sure about the maths department, but I know that the cs department don't prefer applicants with 4 a levels to those with 3 (most have 4 but this is a correlation causation thing). I'd recommend emailing the maths admissions department and checking.

By 25% offer rate, do you mean imperial gives offers to 25% of ppl who apply for maths?
