Had to submit during the late resit period.

I had to submit my coursework in the resit late submission period. I'm now worrying about being let onto third year. My late resit submission will be obviously capped at 40% and it was worth 70%, which means I will get a total of 45% of this module. My other modules, one has 40%, two or three around 55%, one 60% and one 70%. I understand pass mark is 40%, but I'm still scared that they may think I am not ready for third year with this 40-55% results? With only 2 being higher.

I got this sent to me by the faculty:
"Your profile of results will be presented to the Resit Progression and Awards Board in mid-August. The Board will then make a decision regarding your study progression based on your overall performance across all modules and applying academic regulations. Your results letter will be available on your Student Portal by the end of August 2024. "

Will I be ok? Have you been in a similar situation?

Thanks

If you meet the progression requirements, which are likely to be simply that you need to obtain at least 40% (a pass) in each module, then they'll let you progress to third year.

There's no such thing as them thinking "I am not ready for third year with this 40-55% results?" If you meet the progression requirements, then you're ready.
