Pharmacology Job Prospects

I am planning on studying pharmacology at uni this year, however, I am worried about what job prospects are like. How hard would it be to find a job with a pharmacology degree, and how do the job prospects compare to other life sciences degrees, for example microbiology?
I can't see why the career outcomes of a pharmacology degree would be any different to any other bioscience degree. If anything it may give you some slightly more specific background relevant to the pharma sector.

Otherwise job prospects are going to be the same as any degree - and research has found in the UK graduates of STEM and non-STEM degrees have equivalent career outcomes within 10 years of graduating. So I would suggest choosing a degree course based on your personal interests and not on perceived career outcomes, since it's a wash in the end anyway as it turns out.
