nursing uniform

I'm currently doing my nurse training, obviously I have to wear my uniform when I'm on placement. I've mainly got dresses rather than tunics as I prefer them and I make sure i've got my black tights on as uniform policy says I must. With it being hot lately i've noticed a lot of staff wearing dresses without tights and saying to me that I must be really hot but I cant think of anything worse than not wearing tights in work it would make me really uncomfortable. What is the general rule about unfiroms in hot weather and what do others think???????

Refer to your hospital uniform policy about this.

Or talk to your ward sister or manager for there advice on wearing tights in hot weather.

It's unusual for nurses to not wear tights when wearing dresses instead of tunic and trousers.
