Hey guys,
I am really interested in pursuing a career in Medicine and wanted to apply for GEM for the next intake however I received a degree classification of 2.2. I know there are some uni's that'll take a 2.2 with a masters. So following my degree (completed 2021) I decided to pursue a masters to broaden my opportunities. I did not sit the GAMSAT so I am only limited to UCAT GEM courses. I would like to study near London (2 hours give or take) and know a lot of the uni's that I'd be interested in require minimum of a 2.1 i.e., King's, Bart's, SOTON, Surrey.
My actual grade was 56.88 however bearing in mind this includes me not completing four components of my final year modules due to personal circumstances. FYI the final year accounts for 60% of your overall grade.
Has anyone ever heard of Plymouth University upgrading degree classifications and if so what were the pre-requisites? What chances will I have at upgrading my degree classification?
