Clearing 2024 - Mental Health Nursing

hi guys, as results day is only 6 days away, ofc ive changed my mind about the course i want to do. I applied to Psychology & my firm is South Wales. but i want to change to Mental Health Nursing in Cardiff University. i got BDE last year and this year im predicted a ABBC. I want to go through clearing on the day but im not sure what to do or if its the right decision, i really want to study in Cardiff University. The grade requirements for this course is BBB & BBC but i’m not sure how it will work during clearing. i’m just looking for advice and info from people who have gone through clearing or know more about it than i do. it would be much appreciated! X

All you can do is look at Cardiff website on Weds eve/Thurs morning and see if MHN is available.
Do you have any relevant experience for this degree - you wont get through the interview without this, regardless of grades. If you don't, then taking a gap year and getting some experience before applying for 2025 entry would be a good idea.

I have friends who applied to Nursing in Cardiff University with no relevant experience & got contextual offers? i have previous experience from psychology linking to Mental Health too. Would i really need the experience for clearing? No one else has mentioned this to me when talking about clearing

Healthcare courses still interview during clearing. You need public-facing work experience (charity shop, retail, bar/restaurant, etc. is fine) and ideally shadowing experience in a healthcare setting. Prepare for an interview by learning the NHS values and 6 Cs, researching scenario questions, and watch some 'A day in the life of a MH nurse' videos on YouTube that are produced by NHS trusts:

Hello,I got agreement from cardiff University for BSc nursing adult on clearing but I didn't receive offer letter. I signed the contract letter and return to university on correct time but it's been 5 days no response yet. Did I get offer letter?
