what happens if I dont get good grades in GCSE

what happens if I fail my GCSEs?? Ive always had generally good grades (average of an 8) however I was going through a lot in the GCSE period and didnt revise at all. I feel like ive done very bad and I cant face the idea of my teachers all looking at me knowing that I haven't lived up to the expectations of my predictions. I was printed mostly 7s and am also involved in a scholarship program at my school.

people keep telling me I havent failed and thats NOT what I want to hear. I want to hear what will genuinely happen to me if Ive failed my GCSEs? does it really mean I cant get into anywhere?

I havent even applied to a college, I feel like it's too late but im going to do that now I think.

Well, I would say you might have some difficulty getting into very competitive university degrees if your grades aren't high enough. Some picky and snobby sixth form colleges might have an excuse not to enrol you. Other than that, I don't think it's a major blow.

Yes, in an ideal world, you should have done better the first time round so you wouldn't be in this position. However, I would hardly say it means you don't have a future.

I think it's more appropriate to ask where you want to go, what you want to do, and why you want to work this hard.
