Hello, i'm an international student,
I received a student visa last year to complete my master's program, and today I received an email from the school stating that the update to UKVI has been completed and that I am now eligible to apply for the Graduate Route Visa.
However, during this process, I discovered that the expiration date on my student visa was incorrect. Since this is a full-time master's program, the visa should be valid for up to four months after the course completion date (as is the case for other students), but mine is set to expire just two months after the course ends.
*Upon reviewing the application I submitted for my visa, I confirmed that I correctly indicated the course level as a full-time master's program(rqf7/scqf11).
My concern is that visas which only last for two months after the course ends are typically given for programs like foundation courses or pre-MA courses, which do not qualify for the Graduate Route Visa. Since my course has ended, it's difficult to request a correction, and I'm worried because I need to apply for the Graduate Route Visa while my current visa is still valid.
Should I request a correction, or should I include additional details in my application?
If anyone has advice on this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
