Can I use my Debit card for the London TFL underground? What cards can I use?

Hi There.

I am not a newbie to travelling around London using waterloo station to then using the Victoria line,Northern tube lines.Contactless is usually twice coming to £5.50 a day.

However,my Google pay does not let me use the app anymore as it states 9.0 or above.Though I am use to travelling around these areas of London I have never used a debit card.

Can I use my Natwest UK credit Visa debit card which is contactless against the tfl machines for the London tubes/underground? Does anyone use natwest?

I'm starting to think I should of forgot about those apps and just got use to using a simple debit card.

Next semester starts in a couple of months.
