Part-time jobs for international students in Portsmouth

Hey, I am considering to apply in University of Portsmouth for Masters in Engineering geology.
I wanna know what part time jobs there are for international students and what would accommodation charges or what r the options if I am looking to live privately.
Hi I hope you are doing well,

There are plenty of options for part time work in the city that are available to students. Portsmouth is a very student friendly city and offer a lot of employment options for students whilst they study. There are busy areas such as Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Centre, and areas of Southsea that offer a lot of part time roles for students. As an international student, there may be limits on how many hours you can work or certain restrictions and I'd recommend speaking to our global team who can go into more detail about that. Their email is [email protected] and their phone number is 023 9284 3488.

Regarding accommodation, there is a variety of student halls of accommodation all close to the University buildings which offer both shared flats and single studio flats. The prices of these vary from £114 a week (£4,560 for an academic year) to £200 a week (£8000 for an academic year). It depends on what kind of place you are looking and what fits in with your budget. Here is a link to our halls of accommodation so you can look at each one in more detail.

In terms of Private housing, there are plenty of options for that as well and Portsmouth is a very student friendly for living and accommodation as well. The best place to go to find out more about private housing is by speaking to our housing team. Their email is [email protected] and their phone number is +44 (0)23 9284 3214

I hope this was helpful ,
All the best,
Daniel (University of Portsmouth Student Rep)
