I am but how do you apply for sixth form?

I think it depends on the sixth form you're going to. My school has the admission form on their website, I think it's literally a google form. I think most sixth forms have the information on their website. Of course, the higher-up sixth forms will ant you to apply by December but my sixth form doesn't care if we apply after we get our results.

I think I'm going to do sixth form, I'll have teachers that I know and trust and I can meet new people and the way other schools work.
I was told that colleges do more Btecs than A-levels and sixth forms are more academic. Our one is split over two schools and the students travel by bus to each school (depending on what subject their doing) cause we have lots of performing arts subjects and they have some more subjects like computer science and Btec single sciences. (idk why I added this part, just felt like saying)
im thinking maybe chem physics maths further maths but not exactly fixed yet

Do you guys pick maths and further separately? I'm not sure how my school does it but my teacher said when we pick further, we will do maths as well. I think it's just a weird way of picking the options. It might just be we have a different exam board so fm is like an AS instead?

I'm thinking of picking further maths, maths (however it works). My last one might be German or ICT or maybe a science? (although I didn't do triple for GCSE). I might be able to do German as an AS, then I might pick 4 things (If I think I can handle it)

At one of the places I’m applying (the one that I have to do by 31/10) the further maths class is completely separate to the people who just take single maths. They do all of A level maths in Y12 across 2 timetable blocks then do the same for further in Y13.
All the other places I’m applying teach FM & maths in parallel and they have a subject block each through both years. From what I can tell there are good and bad points about both ways and all the places get v good results with their way so I’m really confused about what way is gonna be best for me!

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to cope ok doing 4 as there is content crossover with them. Just need to hit the ground running and stay on top of it all. I hope 🤞

not rlly sure but maybe arts... why r they doing a levels along with BTEC tho? (if you don't mind me asking)
Hey, so I had a question. My school makes us do the mocks in december - january, but we get our grades and report back on the 14th february. Isn't that too late, since we need to submit our predicted grades before? How does it work because the school hasn't told us much, and we did practice mocks in september, but the school said those don't count towards anything. Does any other school do that or is it just mine?

It’s because the one they are doing is equivalent to 2 A levels (not the extended one worth 3) so they are doing 1’a level with it so they can still apply to uni.

Hi everyone, my name is Sammy and favourite subject is textiles, the subjects I do for GCSE are art, textiles, travel and tourism and geography, I don't have a favourite tv show or film but I do like listening to Taylor swift. I don't have a favourite quote at the moment but a lot of things that Taylor swift say are relatable.
