Remarks and Clearing

If I miss my firm and insurance offer and choose to go for a remark, am I allowed to find a university in clearing on the 15th to attend if my remark isn't successful or do I have to wait until my papers have been reviewed if I still want to attend my firm university?

Yes, you can accept a Clearing course, and still go for a remark.
If your remark is successful, your Firm / Insurance Uni would unpick everything via UCAS so that you would go there and not to your Clearing choice.

Just make sure that you tell both your Firm and Insurance that you have asked for a remark, and that you tell them the result, even if you still haven't met your offer terms exactly.
