How much would it cost for a single adult fare? London underground Tfl

If I use a debit credit card natwest to go through the TFl London underground once in and once out in a day,how much would it cost for a single adult fare?

(I dont use google pay anymore and dont like oyster

Would it be the same price as when I used google pay?

It's hard to find the information online for this year 2024.

Thankyou very much for the help

I think it depends more on which zones you cross.

Thankyou very much Max.
It states £2.80 from Waterloo using northern tube line to Goodge street/Euston.

Sound about right. It's not cheap unfortunately, but still cheaper than getting a taxi.

I think it should be the same price using a contactless credit card and the google app pay.I dont see why it would be priced differently.Hopefully it is going to be the same price.

That's the exact route I go in term time and I think it works out to about a fiver a day ish so that's probably right for a single

It used to be that fares were different according to which method of payment you used but now it's all the same. If you have a railcard / are eligible for one, you might consider using an Oyster card since you can apply the railcard discount to it - usually 1/3 off off-peak fares.

Hi.
Yeah.It is from Waterloo station to then 1 toll down below ,then to the Northern Tube line where you stop at Goodge street. Then the 2nd toll.I go back on myself so just go through 4 tolls/barriers which is about or use to be £5.50

Yes I have a railcard with the SW trains.£30.00 for a whole year.So the train would be £33.00 but is 28.80 and within a week or two already saving on that.

But the underground to go through 4 tolls always charges me about £5.50 via google pay and would be amazing just to use a simple credit now and £5.50 still, instead of downloading all these apps which take up phone space.Itcis nice to not have so many apps on your phone as nowadays its seems like you need 20 Haha.
