Need advice- is it worth taking IMC unit 1 and 2 with no background in finance?

Hello,

I am a bid manager, currently working with an investment management company and I'm thinking of taking a few weeks off to prepare for IMC unit 1.

My academic and professional background is not into finance/economics, Moreover my maths is quite rusty 😅 but since I work with an asset management firm, I wish to change my role and I'm keen to explore what opportunities may open for me if I pass IMC exam.

Is it worth to take the challenge?

Best regards,
R

Hi Ruchi,

Im confused between the IMC and the CISI Level 4 certificate in Investment Management. Do you know anything about that? What are the prospects of IMC?
