erin11 asks... what are your best tips for GCSEs?

Hello TSR!

With the 2024-25 academic year approaching, I am keen to know what everyone's best advice is for smashing GCSEs - creating something along the lines of an Ultimate Guide to year 10 and 11 to support and ease the nerves of those who are currently in or about to start their GCSE journey

Hiya as a student who just finished her gcses my tip for yr 11's are that you should start planning revision and make sure to make all resources b4 Christmas to ease all stress and ensure revision goes as smoothly as possible! Make a revision timetable or something similar that works for you and your learning style!
For yr 10 I would advise to make sure to be organised and do active recall once you have learnt something i.e flashcards so you either don't fall behind or have a lapse in memory. If you need to make study resources now is the time so you can make life easier in the future xx
I wish yall the best xx
Hi, I’m a year 12 student and going into year 13 in September. What I would recommend for going into GCSEs are the following:

. Organisational system. E.g folders to store past papers, bookmarking online websites. This will make things so much easier when it comes to y11 revision.

. Making flashcards. You can either make physical versions, or online versions using Quizlet or Gimzo AI.

. Traffic-light system. Highlight your weakest topics in red and prioritise them for revision.

. Past papers!
