Hi starting uni in September im doing adult nursing at hull what laptop should it get also anything else i should get will be helpful?

Definitely not a macbook!

I'm about to finish my first year of Adult Nursing, many students brought in a macbook. Overly expensive, and can't access half of the decent applications you might require during your course.

I'd very much recommend you get a light-weight laptop, due to the fact you will end up needing it... a lot!
Personally, I bought a laptop from Amazon. It was light-weight, touchscreen, decent speed. For nowhere near the extortionate price of a macbook.

I'd search around, find something that suits you and your needs. There's multiple good ones out there.

Hi! I'm also starting adult nursing at Hull this September, I recently bought a MacBook for Uni, however I've heard that Chromebooks are great too ! :smile:
