A Level remark for a science subject

Hi, it's almost A Level results day and I'm worried about missing my Cambridge offer (A* in Chemistry, A*A in Maths and/or Biology). Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about how likely it is that a remark might change your grade for science subjects? Does anyone know if it's also a good idea to get a remark if placed in the Cambridge Summer pool (which I've heard isn't open for long), especially if you narrowly miss the general grade requirements for Natural Sciences (A*A*A)? I was also taken from the Winter pool so I'm not sure if that might decrease my chances of being placed in the Summer Pool. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Firstly, big congrats on being given an offer to NatSci at Cambridge (Massive achievement), if you are 1/2 marks off the required grade in Chemistry there is a fairly good chance your mark could go up (but this would be the worse science subject to need a remark in if your doing OCR A, if your remark is in biology then the amount of marks you can gain in a remark are much higher if your doing aqa bio, since quite a lot of the examiners miss key marking points hidden in the massive amounts that students write for the 5/6 markers. Getting a remark shouldn't hinder your application because if it turns out they missed marks when marking your science subjects its the examiner's fault not yours, so very unlikely you will be penalised for that.
