UCAS Clearing

Hi! I'm hoping to go to uni of liverpool this year through clearing, however, I cannot make my application on the UCAS website as it is down until results day. Is it possible to do my application over the phone as I would like to apply ASAP. (I already have my A Level results, I left school last year)

You will need to wait until results day to call them up. It is currently embargo. This is a period of time where universities and school are unable to communicate anything with you regarding your application. Embargo will finish at 8am on results day, so you can do your UCAS application and then call them up then.

There's a reason it's down - UCAS is totally frozen until results day, nothing can be done until Thursday morning now.

Have you got your personal statement ready?
You understand you will still need to pay the full UCAS fee?

You can ring Liverpool and ask if you would meet their offer requirements but they may not be able to speak to you without any UCAS details.

It is for criminology with sociology. I was hoping to apply before results day to avoid the stress since I already have my results :frown:

Thanks for your reply, I understand I will have to pay the fee etc I was just hoping I could do it before results day since I do not need to wait on results. But thank you anyway for your help

UCAS is 'offline' until Thursday at 8am while Unis process A level results behind the scenes.
There is nothing you can do before then.

You could have done, last week, or before Scottish results day. But as the embargo period is now in play, that chance has gone I'm afraid. :frown:

I’ve just realised i still have my application from early this year, my only issue is that i cannot add clearing courses onto it until the server is back. I think I have resolved he issue thanks for your help

I think pre-Hub it did but they’ve got a way for the equivalent of “Apply” to stay up now. It vanishes into limbo once submitted until the end of embargo but still an improvement for anyone wanting to go straight into Clearing
