Failed my foundation year

I've probably failed my foundation year because I missed an online quiz re-sit assignment. It is the only assignment I failed, but I passed all units. Unfortunately the uni is adamant that you need to pass all assignments...

I'm really worried and anxious because now, I don't know what is in store or what my options are. I could potentially retake the year, but the course I'm going on to will not be available from September 2025 so I'm a bit stuck on what to do or say. Should I just wait for my results and for my uni to get into contact with me?

There is really not much you can do other than rethink your university course options. If you dont have the grades to get to uni without completing a foundation year then I suggest you choose a different foundation course

They do offer a re-take for the course I failed but even then they’re being really vague about it.

Heya, I would suggest emailing the module convenor for more information (they usually know how resits should work for their modules). Definitely ask when and what time the retake is if you haven't already, because you don't want to miss it accidentally. I think it would be better and cheaper (regarding student finance) to do the retake than to resit the whole year :console:
