Hi everyone :hello:

As Results Day approaches, many of you will be feeling a mix of emotions. At The Student Room, we're committed to offering a wide range of support to guide you through whatever you may be experiencing. From helpful resources and advice to a welcoming community, we’re here to ensure you navigate this important day with confidence and care.
That's why we're again partnering with the student mental health charity, Student Minds, to provide additional support during this crucial time.

Here's a little message on how @StudentMinds Rep will be supporting you all:

"Hello, we are from Student Minds the UK's student mental health charity. We are very excited to be supporting by answering your questions and sharing our experiences with you too.

We run Student Space, a website to support you through the uncertainty of student life. We know being a student can be exciting, but we also know it can be very worrying and difficult at times too. Hear from students and explore a range of trusted information and tools to guide you through the uncertainty of student life. Explore tips on:

Social life and feeling lonely
Money and financial concerns
What support is available at your uni
Academic stress and pressure
Life as a Black student

Results day can be challenging, especially if you don't get the results you expected. We have results and next steps tips and advice to help on Student Space. We know starting university can be a big step with lots of change for you which is why we have produced resources to help you as you prepare for university.

We are here to support you, you don't have to do any of these big steps alone." :grouphugs:

Morning all! Nicola from Student Minds here, kicking off three days on TSR 😀

Hope everybody is feeling ok about tomorrow. I remember the nerves and apprehension well, even though it was a long time ago for me now! My best advice is to seek some positive distractions - watch your favourite films/series, go for a nice walk (bonus if you have a dog to enjoy it with), and/or catch up with family and friends.

Remember, you're not alone and there are resources and people here to support you. You could try our 7/11 breathing exercise if you find yourself feeling worried throughout the day. We're here for you - please feel free to stop by for a chat! 🧡
Evening all👋

Izzy from Student Minds here, I'll be around for a while should you have anything you wish to share or ask about.

Reflecting on my own pre-results day experience, for me the most challenging part was the uncertainty. If this resonates with you, you may want to read the 'Why uncertainty can be stressful' article on Student Space. Understanding why our brains respond in this way and how you can adapt your approach may be helpful 🧡
Morning all,

Grace here from Student Minds, as it's A-level results day today just wanted to let you know our team will be around all day to help answer any concerns, and questions and share our personal experiences too.

I remember the dread of driving up to school to collect my results and constantly refreshing UCAS. It is such a stressful time, with lots of comparison with your peers and how they are doing. Student Space has lots of great resources to help you through your results and next steps and to prepare for university.

You don't have to do this alone - we are here for you 🧡
