yes ofc, the earlier you start the easier it will be at the beginning of the school year- ive already started studying fully (12 yr too)
People say writing it physically helps it stay in the memory, but I'd say you can choose which you prefer I just recommend being consistent with revision as early as you can

Yeah for me they're really great for memorising content i have flash cards for all my subjects just wondering what exam spec you're doing for chemistry? I can give my quizlet flashcards although they are quite messy and may have some misspelling. I do AQA for chemistry
