My subjects

I do 2 a levels and 1 BTEC and when I check qualifications and ucas points needed for the subject I wanna do at uni it usually says 1 BTEC is equivalent to 3 a levels but then it’s not clear bc it says it’s either invalid as in they don’t accept it as a qualification or it’s equivalent to 1 a level, i don’t if I explain that well but if you do understand could you help

Not all BTECs are equal.

A Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Certificate is the equivalent of 0.5 A levels.
A Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate is the equivalent of 1 A level.
A Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma is the equivalent of 1.5 levels.
A Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma is the equivalent of 2 A levels.
A Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma is the equivalent of 3 A levels.

What is the full name of the BTEC you're doing? (If you're doing it alongside 2 A levels, it's almost certainly an Extended Certificate.)
The full name is Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate RQF (360) (2016 to Present) in Business so I’m guessing it equivalent to one A Level
