Student finance help

I've applied for student finance for a pgce with QTS One Year beginning 4th Sept 2024. I've been advised that my application will be processed by end of September. The course would have started already by then!

I'm worried that they may not approve me since I have lots of previous study.
I did 4 years at undergrad. And then in September 2023 I began a pgce but withdrew after 1 month. In the same academic year (23-24) I started a nursing course and received funding.. I've since withdrawn (in July 2024) and now for the academic year 2024 I am going to start a PGCE again.

Will they fund me or should I be worried? I don't have QTS and I was only on the pgce for 1 month last time.

I'm scared to start this new course and then be refused finance later!

Hi there,

How long is your new PGCE course? When did you submit your application?

Thanks,
Ross

Hi,

It's 1 year long. I submitted my application on the 8th August
Hi ibn__m7md,

If you don't have QTS then we will be able to fund repeat study for PGCE courses with a length of 1 year.

Thanks,
Calum
