Interview questions at clearing?

I’ve got my ucas number and 9 unis listed ( I hope that’s enough lmao ) with their clearing numbers on my phone.

But after watching some TikTok’s apparently they ask you questions like an interview. Like why you want to go to that uni etc. other TikTok videos and people have said they just ask for your basic details and offer what’s available so it’s a quick process.

Do I have to learn some basic info about all the unis I might call up in case they ask me lots of questions? Is it highly likely they will? What kind of questions do they ask and how should I prepare for those?

Never had that experience. In my experience they just ask you what course you're asking about, factual information about your grades etc, and then they decide whether to make a verbal offer or not. Sometimes they ask you to send an alternate PS if it's a very different course to the one you applied to.
