Digital Evidence Upload Fail (?)

Hello! I've tried phoning, but the phone number listed on the gov.uk website does not seem to be working, so I am getting in touch here. I have submitted my application in June and was asked to provide additional evidence, which I have now uploaded three times via the website (I have a screenshot confirming the documents have been successfully uploaded, the first attempt was on the 25th of June, when I got the email requesting this particular evidence). However, I never got email confirmations and the 'to-do' list section in my application still has the uploading of evidence listed on it. Is there any way for me to check the documents have indeed been received and my application is now being assessed? Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Ross,
Many thanks for getting back to me!
It was a document with the share code, proving my pre-settled status and right to study and work in the UK.

Hi there, The expected timescale for evidence of Share codes to be reviewed and validated is normally 15 working days, as your timescale has exceeded this we would advised to contact us direct. Have you applied as a EU student? Thanks, Angela

Yes, I am an EU student. Is there another way I can send you the share code to make sure you receive it on time? I’m sorry I didn’t get in touch sooner, I assumed the documents were uploaded and under review. As I mentioned, for some reason the phone number doesn’t work for me, I am currently outside of the UK, which could be the reason (my phone provider has been having issues with roaming recently and I can’t call any UK numbers). Thank you!

Hi there,

The share code we require is the immigration status share code. Is this the one you sent?

Thanks,
Ross

Hello,
Yes, that is what I sent (I downloaded the pdf with the share code from the gov.uk website and uploaded it to my SFE account). It should be valid until the 23rd of September.

Thanks for confirming.

Did you also send your Home Office letter confirming your status?

Thanks,
Ross

I’m not exactly sure what that is… I sent this document (including the share code of course, which I don’t want to share here). This is what I get from the gov.uk website when I want to prove my immogration status. Is there something else I should have sent?

Hi there, The home office letter is sent when your status has been awarded, this is sent direct from the Home Office. Thanks, Angela

Hello,
Yes I have that, I thought it cannot be used as proof of immigration status… Should I upload that as well?
Many thanks and apologies for my confusion!

Hello,
I have now uploaded this along with the share code and the cover letter, hopefully it's all ok now!

Still waiting to receive the confirmation email - is it likely to arrive immediately or only after the uploaded evidence has been reviewed?

Thank you both very much for your prompt and helpful responses!

HI AneMann,

Depending on system you may not get confirmation email. Once the evidence has been received its currently taking 16 working days to be processed. If there is any issues the team will email you, it may go to junk folder.

Thanks,
Claire

Hello Claire,
Many thanks for your message. As I still haven't received a confirmation email, I assume this is indeed the case. Thank you again for all your help, I hope everything goes smoothly from now on!
