MSc Advanced Clinical Practice

Hi, currently coming up to 2 years qualified as a nurse and i want to study again.. which i never thought i would after the 3 years of nursing

could anyone tell me what MSc Advanced Clinical Practice is like as a course, if they have experience in the role currently because at the moment im based in renal and enjoy it but the ward area can be tiring and want to do more. i would also like to know where the role would be based as all ive heard is in GPs

It varies a lot. To get into a university you need to be supported by the clinical area that you will be working in whilst you complete the 3 years, as your competencies need to be fulfilled and signed off therefore you will need a supervisor to ensure that you will be working at and towards an advanced level during this time. You can do this in which ever area you choose, for example I am currently training as an ACP in A
