ive always been interested in news and politics but ive never really kept up with it because nobody around me does but im going to do politics a level and i know how important it is to keep up with the news if i want to get good grades so how do i start
ive been to taster sessions of politics at different sixthforms and when people are talking about different things going on around the world i have no idea what theyre talking about

So, in summary, you question is "How do I keep-up with the news and what's going on in the world?" Is that right?

News web sites.
News broadcasts on TV (or via a streaming service, given that none of the people you're with seem interested).
Newspapers (a tad "old-school", I know).
TSR's UK and World Politics and News and current affairs forums.

All would be good places to start.
I’ve just finished politics a-level -
I recommend going through the spec and looking for as many examples from the news to match up with those topics. If you want to be getting A/A*s, real world examples are vital and I
recommend making evidence banks for all topics once you’ve finished getting together examples for everything as it’s a nightmare to dig through your folder looking for them separately later on.
good luck!
