What is the accommodation cost in year 1?

What is the accommodation cost in year 1?

Hi @Fanny388

Was you planning to live on campus or off ? You can check out our on campus accommodations here and at UEA we have links to accommodation in the city centre too from Pablo Fanque House to St. Crispin's House. Do you have any special requirements ? As we aim to accommodate to everyone 😊

If you have the opportunity it might be work coming to visit our campus and exploring our accommodations in person! I’ve added a virtual tour link here too!

And in terms of cost, our accommodations range from different prices suited to fit everyone. Were you planning on using a maintenance loan from student finance ? If you needed any extra support we do have bursary options available too, have a look here

Hope that helps and any other questions do feel free to ask

Hello,

I am a student who is going through clearing tomorrow on results day due to changing my mind about the course I would like to study. UEA is by far my top choice and I have two questions for yourself.

The first is will there still be accommodation available?
The second is will I require a clearing interview

Thank you

Hello @gracepharro21

That is excellent that you are considering UEA! 🙂

It will depend on what course you are doing to whether you will need an interview.
In terms of accommodation, most first years are able to secure on campus accommodation if you put it as your top choice. 🙂 There are plenty of options to choose from in terms of accommodation from en-suite to shared. There would also be accommodation in the city available depending on which you would prefer. To take a look further at accommodation click here: https://www.uea.ac.uk/uea-life/accommodation/accommodation-finder

When you call up for clearing tomorrow they should be able to advise you on all the options and will be able to advise further on both whether/if there is an interview for your specific course and also on the accommodation application process. For more details see: https://www.uea.ac.uk/study/clearing?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=clearing_24&utm_content=preclearing_generic_search
With this you can also register for the clearing information and please check in with us and contact us on: 01603 591515
and we will be happy to help with any questions and the clearing process for you 😊.

Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with or any further questions that you might have
Best Wishes

Hi,
I recently got into the MBBS program through waitlist, and when asking the university for the pre-CAS, I was told I had to do it via Enroly. I haven't received any previous emails regarding this, so could you please explain the CAS process?
