Does he like me

so there’s this guy in my year who I have 0 classes w, I’ve only known him since September, I don’t have his number or his snap nothing. I was fine talking to him at lunch and break and stuff bc he’s gone to school w my good friends since nursery. he started getting a lil clingy and always asking for fist bumps and stuff (it’s a normal thing in my yr 😭 don’t ask) so I was like sure. And then he started like hugging me when I go past and stuff and at the end of the day when I’m walking w my friends he’ll run up and hug me from behind if he sees me. After that at lunch and break he’ll say love u and stuff. I can’t tell if he acc likes me or if it’s just like, funny best friend stuff. Idk don’t come at me in the replies saying I’m looking for attention. I think he does like me but I don’t know. I think it’ll wear off in a while. But I don’t think I like him in that way so is it him being a weirdo hugging me from behind and stuff when we haven’t even known eachother that long.

ask your friends since they've known him a while and would probably be able to tell what his behaviour means. he might just be a clingy and affectionate person, so see if he acts this way with other people that he's comfortable with. if he's making u uneasy try asking him directly what his deal is. and to tell if he likes u maybe bring up another guy (like tell him ur talking to sm1 or say "x looks cute u know") to see how he reacts. thats what i would do in this situation.
