Hey!! So I didn’t do polish but I did do Russian a level as a native speaker and I’m really really happy that I did. For me, as someone who is doing all essay-based a levels for example and applying for a humanities degree, a language is hugely beneficial especially given as I don’t have a very Russian sounding name so it seems like I actually did loads of work and did really well as a non-native! I think the question of is it worth it for you is: are you really fluent? And what are you planning on doing in the future? If you are fully fluent then this will basically take you no time, all you do is read a book, watch a film and analyse them - the rest of it is even easier! So it really is quite beneficial to have a “free” A*. If you are having to teach yourself the grammar and stuff I’d say unless you’re doing a humanities degree it’s not really worth it because it won’t really benefit your application and take away from your time. Hope this helps!!
A lot of unis won’t consider A-Levels if they’re not taken in the same sitting, (maths/further maths being the usual exception). So it depends whether you think it’s a good spend of your time for potentially not much benefit.

As long as you take 3 AL’s later then it won’t be much detriment though.
