You need a completed and submitted UCAS application to use clearing. That includes a PS and an academic reference.

If you contact your school exams officer and ucas officer tonight to ask for help they should be able to let you know if they can provide a reference tomorrow.
That then gives you tonight to finalise your PS and your qualification details to send your application to your exam centre for them to add your reference.

Clearing is PART of UCAS. And no RG university is going to be keen on an application without an academic reference

do you know if it's okay for me to add a reference literally on results day? because i don't have access to my teachers until then.

Email your college exams officer and ucas officer tonight. They will be working at your school/college tomorrow preparing results and should be able to help. They might even be answering the phone tomorrow.

You cannot submit a UCAS application without the reference attached. So you would not be able to use clearing until it’s added.

i see, i'll do that then. do you know if it's okay for me to apply for a different course instead of the one that my personal statement details? thanks for your assistance

If you haven’t submitted your application yet then just change your ps to suit the course you want to apply for
