Can you get into dentistry through clearing if you didn’t apply

Hi, so I applied to biomedical science. I initially wanted to apply for dentistry but due to my low ucat score I didint. I heard that dentistry might go into clearing and wanted to know if it was possible to get in if I didn’t apply for dentistry before hand and if I didn’t apply with my ucat or did any interviews. Thanks

Not really. When Medicine and Dentistry go into clearing, it's usually open to those that already were interviewed. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news :frown:

If you want to do Dentistry though, you'd be doing yourself a big favour if you resit the UCAT this year (the exam window is closing soon!) to try to get a better grade and take a gap year to reapply this coming October. Doing Dentistry as a second degree comes with a set of difficulties and economical headaches which are best avoided if you can.
