Student finance evidence help please

Hi guys I have applied for Students loan and Maintenance Loan for 2024/2025
I reached a point where I uploaded almost everything as evidence on their site (2/3 years of payslips, old house contract and HMRC employee history)
However I received an email asking me to:
“ You need to send us:
• original evidence of your residency from 01/09/2021 to Present Day;
and
• a handwritten letter telling us any addresses you lived at from
01/09/2021 to Present day.

My question is, the handwritten letter is obviously no problem, but do I need to attach physical copy of my old house contract as well? I don’t think I have them in physical copies

What can I do?

Hi there!

I’m 24 and Italian
I uploaded a lot of documents on the students finance portal (payslip, old house contract, HMRC history) about a week and half ago

However, 2 days ago I received the email asking an handwritten letter (which obviously I can write and send) + original evidence of past residences
The problem is, I don’t have any physical copies my old house contracts

What do I need to do? Can I upload the current house contract + the old one on the students finance portal or send them via email?

Hi Fra2000,

If you are an EU national you shouldn't need to send this kind of evidence. Do you have a status under the EU settlement scheme and have you sent us evidence of this?

Hi there!

Yes, I have presettle status and I have already uploaded a share code on the portal

I can obviously do it again if it can speed up the process and save me the trouble of sending everything via mail
