Applying through clearing when my school hasn't submitted my application to UCAS

Hi, I've submitted my UCAS application and it's been sent to my school/college. My school/college has not sent it to UCAS yet and results day is tomorrow. Is that a problem for me applying to University? Many thanks!

Hi @JadeSorrows

Here’s what you should do:

1.

Contact Your School/College Immediately: Reach out to your school or college urgently and ask them to send your application to UCAS as soon as possible. Explain the situation, emphasizing that results day is tomorrow and that your application needs to be with UCAS by then.

2.

Understand the Impact: If your application isn't sent to UCAS before results day, universities won't be able to view your application or offer you a place based on your results. This could delay any potential offers you might receive.

3.

Seek UCAS Advice: If your school or college is unable to send your application in time, contact UCAS directly for advice. They may be able to provide guidance or suggest steps to mitigate the impact of the delay.

It’s crucial to get your application sent to UCAS as soon as possible to avoid any disruption in the university admissions process.

Hope This helps.

As above^. Also if you have some universities in mind try giving them a call today before the madness of tomorrow and explain the situation so they are aware.
Hello JadeSorrows

As far as I know, applicants who are interested in applying to Lancaster University through Clearing do not need to have submitted a UCAS application. They can still call our hotline or submit a webform enquiry, and we'll still be able to make an offer (if we have a place available and they meet the requirements). Our Clearing hotline is open from 8am (BST) on Thursday 15th August - 0800 298 9542 or +44 1524 931 300 from overseas. If they decide they want to accept a Clearing offer from us, that's when they'll need to submit a UCAS application.

Hope this helps and good luck with everything~
