Aerospace engineering+pilot studies

I have an offer for aircraft engineering with pilot studies at Salford Uni.
On UCAS clearing they are now not showing the foundation year for the course
However they are showing the foundation year for Aerospace engineering.
Can I do the foundation year in aerospace and then in my first proper year switch to the foundation course as both courses have similar basic principles?

I may not get the grades for the original course so may not get my place and the course that i specifically want to do no longer show the foundation year on UCAS

I think that means it won’t be available through clearing but as everyone says its always best to call tomorrow to ask about any places

Most universities will automatically consider applicants who miss their offer for year 1 entry for consideration for their foundation year.

Your best bet is to wait and see what your results and UCAS say in the morning and if you’re in clearing to ring up Salford and explain the situation and ask about the other FY course.
