Oxford application after doing badly in first year of uni?

Hello,
In my first year of university I did pretty badly (CGPA of 2.0), but since then I have maintained straight A's and have a CGPA of 3.8. How will this affect my application to an oxford masters program?

Okay, as you probably know the Oxford requirement is as follows:
If your graduate course at Oxford requires a master's degree in the UK system, you will usually need a master’s degree/Maîtrise or Master of Philosophy. An overall grade of ‘B+’ or 77%, or a GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0, is usually considered equivalent to a merit grade in the UK system.

How is your overall degree classification calculated in Canada? We have a different system here, most of our undergraduate courses don't count 1st year at all.

So from my understanding a 3.7 GPA and above is a high distinction (first class), a 3.3-3.6 is a distinction (upper second class), and so on. Our first year counts towards the final CGPA, so im just wondering whether my performance in my first year will do harm to my application.
