Chemistry biology spanish?

Hiiiii
I hace just done my GCSEs this year and I am still struggling to decide which a level I want to take aside biology and chemistry.
Everyone says math as it goes with them well and it is good for medicine but i personally hate math and I always struggled even when i try hard ( i am hoping for a seven in math ) however spanish was my favourite subject as when i first came to UK i did not know any spanish when i joined school ( year 9 ) but surprisingly I learned everything very quickly and at the end was the top of my class. I think i am getting either and 8 or a 9 for GCSEs.
What i am struggling to decide is I am very scared for the writing part about one movie and the book. Like how hard is it?
Because in gcse by the end of the year I finally did very well in english lit by getting a nine in my mock but i watched so many videos. I dont know if i be as good in analysing when it is in spanish so i am very scared.
My speaking was my strongest so I am not very worried about that.
I also dont know if it a good match with bio and chem
I am just very lost😭
Would help me tremendously if you guys have any info about it and if you enjoyed it or anything that would help me:smile:
Thank youuuu
First of all if you dont like Maths then choosing not to take it is absolutely fine! Prioritising subjects you like apparently makes your life at a level a lot easier!
I dont have personal experience of Spanish a level but its a good one if you enjoy it and are able to learn the content quickly. I think @emm4nuella does or did a level Spanish (sorry if Ive got that wrong but that’s the only person I could think of that I think I saw mentioned it) so maybe they could give you some insight into the subject, if they have time (I feel so awkward tagging people but feel bad that I dont know enough about Spanish a level to give a proper view).
Spanish will probably give you a nice great from the STEM stuff and could prove very useful in the future if you would like to work outside of the UK so I’d say its a good combination if you like all your subjects!
Hope this helps and you get some input on what’s involved in the essay stuff at a level, I would say that as you really enjoy it though its a great choice and a great skill to learn a language at that level. Have a great day
