Reffered exam affecting student finance maintenance loan

I have an exam to resit in august and i am supposed to get maintenance loan in august as i am going into placement year, will i need to wait for the result of the resit before funds can be released or not?

Hi emlaay6,

Getting your maintenance loan payment would depend on your university sending us confirmation of registration so is largely at the university's discretion. If you pass your resit and continue into the next year of your course your university should send us this confirmation and your maintenance loan payments will be made as usual.
