[Golden thread] What's your favourite UK holiday destination?

I feel like I've had a lot of little trips away to various parts of the English seaside this summer, so I'm asking what your favourite place in Britain to go for a holiday is?
I really liked my trip to Devon this June!

I think it'll have to be Cornwall!
Isle of Wight was quite good fun although went in Easter time when it was a bit quieter (and colder/windier)
It was an easy spot to get to from Southampton when I was at Uni there

Have you been to Portmeirion? It's really nice 🙂. Bodnant gardens is too but that's National Trust.

It's totally worth going imo, it's a beautiful place and quite literally looks like a Mediterranean coastal town
This is quite tough I can't lie for now my favourite place would have to be Bournemouth - the scenery was quite beautiful!

But I don’t really travel around in the UK that much.

Been to Norfolk and Cromer a few times when I was younger, nice places 
lol if i ever go to the uk i'll use this to determine where to go

It has to be the Highlands of Scotland for me. Feels like the wild frontier, a complete escape from modern life and such freedom and beautiful scenery. Places like the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Glen Affric, or the Cairngorms. Utterly beautiful places.
I love the Lake District, most of Wales, East Devon, North Yorkshire and the Cotswolds.
