I've never been to the UK for holiday. Some friends and I are talking about maybe coming to either London or Manchester for a week.

I’d say Lake District and northern Scotland - I like good views.

Actually neither have I! We went halfway between Glasgow and Inverness. Honestly I don’t love holidays within the UK - I just feel I’ve seen enough of London; it’s cool but it gets boring after a while. And the scenery in other parts of the world is unmatchable. Like everyone makes a huge ******* deal about Ben Nevis with no idea what they’re missing.
I would love to go to northern wales and the lake district
But the yorkshire dales were amazing when I went a few years ago

I feel like I've had a lot of little trips away to various parts of the English seaside this summer, so I'm asking what your favourite place in Britain to go for a holiday is?
I really liked my trip to Devon this June! :h:

I love Belfast. I also went to London in February and it was quite nice; but I don't plan on going to Britain any time soon, except London maybe for a flight connection. I'd defo like to go to Belfast again when all the riot stuff dies down, though.

Don't live in Northern Ireland but you have that in Belfast.

well there's plenty murals which are cool for checking out
the titanic museum is an absolute must go, and the hotel europa is the most bombed hotel in the world so take a picture outside of that for sure
there's so much history so read up on it or go to a museum, it's pretty interesting.
if you're renting a car you can drive up through antrim to see the giants causeway which is gorgeous
Loved the Yorkshire dales and Scotland. Peak District can really have its moments too, some amazing views around there
