work exp for IR

Hi,
I want to study IR but I'm unsure if there's any relevant work exp I could still get before October. I've heard there's not really anything required and that the motivation for studying is more important but i really want something under my belt, so I'm not behind later on
At this point I'm ready to accept anything.

Any advice is welcome

You don’t need work experience for academic degrees like IR. Your super curriculars should be academic related activities.
