Drop year

I want to take a drop for my IGCSE but my parents don't allowing me and currently I'm so stressed for that

And I want to learn each and everything step by step with basics which requires time but mine parents are forcing me to study only those things which will come in the exam as a result I'm losing interest from my studies

It sounds like you’re feeling really overwhelmed, and that’s completely understandable. You want to build a strong foundation by learning everything step by step, but your parents are focused on the immediate goal of passing your IGCSE exams. This can create a lot of stress, especially when your learning style doesn’t match up with the way you’re being asked to study.

Try having an open conversation with your parents about how you’re feeling. Explain that while you understand the importance of the exams, you believe that building a solid understanding of the basics will help you in the long run. Maybe you could come to a compromise, where you focus on exam prep but also set aside some time to explore the subjects more deeply. Balancing both might help you regain some interest in your studies.

It’s important to take care of your mental health during this time, so make sure you’re also taking breaks and finding ways to manage your stress.
