UCL clearing

if i have an offer already from UCL and get accepted as i meet the conditions, but want to switch the course at UCL, do i have to decline the offer??

No, there is an internal process to request to be considered by another course at UCL by contacting them:

https://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate/how-apply/after-you-apply#changing

That said, you probably should've done this earlier, as the longer you wait, the less likely it is that you may be considered for the other course.

Also, UCL hasn't to date participated in clearing, it's only participated in clearing plus. It's a completely different process which applicants have no control over even being considered by UCL for except opting into the programme and then UCL might consider them if they are using clearing plus for that course.

This is the first year they've participated in the main clearing process - quite a change! Perhaps a sign of things to come? There does seem yo be a preference for applicants to apply post qualification.
