feeling depressed

I am currently depressed and I'm not sure why. It's a really big struggle one minute I'm ok and the next I just want to cry.

I'm starting a new job in a few days and I'm worried my depression will affect my first few weeks at the new company.

Any advice
Hey, I understand what you're going through. I've been like that the last few days as well. This might be all your nervousness before starting your new job. I think once you're settled into working, you'll be able to distract your mind and hopefully will be able to feel better. Apologies, if this wasn't much help, but relax and take your time. If you need to cry, cry, let it all out, you will feel better after letting it all out. Do things you enjoy. Hope this helps
Your depression might run deeper than starting a new job, though perhaps it's the feeling of changing your routine. When I changed schools as a child I always felt anxious and upset about it, so this could be why you're feeling depressed. Try not to be on your own and garner support from friends and family. Suffering alone is going to make your depression worse. Just persevere and you'll win, depression tests resolve, so hang in there and you'll feel better and upbeat again soon
