Failed module

Hi, I currently go to lsbu and I failed an assignment but passed everything else. I haven’t received an outcome as they are haven’t released the grades but i don’t know what to expect or what should I do. I’m currently in first year.

Sorry to hear this!
I would recommend getting in contact with your module leader for that course and see if they can give any information because I know at our university if someone failed an assignment which then led to a failed module then they would be expected to redo that assignment (it would be potentially be a different topic from the module perhaps so that they are not completing it again as they would have an unfair advantage) over the summer.
However, if it is just within your module and has a low weighting this may have not impacted on your results.

It was a module that only had one assignment could it be possible if they make me redo the year only for that one assignment or force pass me

I would assume most likely that they would ask for you to complete it ahead of starting again in September for second year if it is only one assignment. I would definitely get in contact with your module leader and try and find out some more information on it as I would expect based on our university that you would be asked to complete the assignment again over the summer so that you can start second year.
Obviously every university may work differently for this so I would recommend emailing the module leader, you could also include your course/degree leader as well to see if they can provide any further information on what your next steps are. Also I would look to see if you have a year/module handbook as this may provide details on what happens when you fail an assignment.
