People don't like me it seems

Since elementary people just haven't liked me it seems. I only have had 2 bff's and still my best friends and I'm in 11th grade. every single time I get a friend like 5-9 months they dump me and It seems like its hard for me to make friends too. idk why no one likes me cuz I feel as if I'm nice and thoughtful and im a good friend and listen and everything and idk... do yk why this is?

The same thing has happened to me, sometimes people are just like that. It could be for a variety of reasons (e.g. jealousy). It can be disheartening but it's important to remember that it's not your fault and you can't control their actions.

The truth is friends often come and go - you probably already know this.

There’s nothing wrong with you and you’re a great person (judging how good of a listener and friend you are!)

Friends that stick really close to you for years are rare and can still fall out anyhow! You can’t control what they want to do and how you both want the situation to end/progress as life can be unpredictable.

I would say just enjoy your time with your friends, as nothing lasts forever.

Have you expressed this to your best friends? Maybe they have some insight you don’t? Or have noticed things/ spoken to people and can advise something?

I’m not saying this is the case for you, but it’s really hard to see our own flaws. Especially when we have friends who accept us unconditionally, as we don’t see anything wrong in what we are doing. However, other people won’t tolerate this. I’m speaking from personal experience too. I know I can’t act the way I am with my close friends & family with other people.

The other thing is, people can be petty and poor communicators. What I mean by this is, people find it easier to avoid you than tell you they don’t like something. I went to school with a girl who was kind, but she had incredibly poor hygiene and this was off putting for anyone she tried to befriend. I’m not saying this is you, but sometimes it can even be something as petty as having a louder voice than you realise.

Lastly, maybe you are just a genuine person and this intimidates them. I have a handful of amazing friends & family, and they have openly told me that I am not a friend for the lighthearted. Maybe what you thought were friends are actually acquaintances?
