KCL Clearing

I just got through the KCL’s clearing line for BA International Relations and was being passed through to admissions. The call then cut for no reason and now I have to wait an hour before I get through. Really hoping they give me a call back but I doubt it. I exceed the entry requirements and really set on the course - so frustrating!!!

I do have one question actually! I have emailed SOAS (I have a confirmed place with them) to see if they can hold my place if I decline my offer and reapply through clearing should I not get into KCL. They said I will forfeit my place if I decline. Is there a way I can secure my place to be safe?

Sadly not, if you decline your place then it is lost and there is no guarantee you will be able to obtain the place again. You can however contact KCL and if they give you an offer then you have that secured. You could then decline the place and add the KCL place.

Hey congrats on your offers!! I also received a clearing offer for maths from KCL - do you just have to add the course to the clearing choices to 'accept the offer'?

I also got an offer from King’s in clearing and put in ucas. I will miss my Queen Mary offer if they do not confirm. Anything i can do?

I got an email this morning from King’s Apply confirming my application is received and being processed. Maybe it is worth giving them a call to see how long they will take to respond.

ive added my clearing choice and declined QMUL at around 4 yesterday, still waiting for confirmation on ucas. it might be taking long because its the weekend? also do u know if its possible they can remove the offer even though they've sent an email confirming?

yes, i did on the same day i called (thursday). they’ll probably update it on monday—maybe it’s just a delay, but still, the unnecessary stress 😅. i assume you only received the automated email about them considering your application; i didn’t get any other emails after the UCAS confirmation, just updates on King’s Apply. have you tried logging into that?
